Oh it's just an awful color to paint a car(for me) i think the mopar code was "plum crazy" ....................... and they was right!

Yes, that is a '70 Superbird. My brother bought it wrecked, put it back together with a '70 satellite front clip as the replacement Superbird nose from direct connection was thirty-four hundred 1973 dollars. I think if you go to the Audio Classics website and Mike Sastra's links, you can get to the current restoration of this exact car, new correct aluminum nose and all.

Yes I've heard of Plum Crazy....... I'd probably go for Limelight, or whatever the orange was called that the General Lee was painted (assuming that was a factory color).

On a Camaro it was "hugger orange", i'm not sure what the mopar word was for it. Orange crush comes to mind, but that might have been the name of a stoutly built local hemi roadrunner

Some memories are a bit hazy, that was a lotta 1/4 mile passes, and brain cells ago.

If he knows more about cars than speakers, he's wondering why all these people waste all this time and money on something other than a big block Chevrolet. If it's not a BBC, and it doesn't have a clutch, you're just playin' with it.

Reals cars have doors that slam, gears that jam, and way too much motor under the hood.

    Re:

I love that bronze Ranchero, OG.

So much trim detail on those, makes them very hard to get complete and right anymore, i REALLY appreciate that one. It's in the nines.
